Celebrating Sporting Achievement
Pupils from Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Academy in Billingham attended the Stockton School Sports Partnership Awards on Tuesday, where two of the school's outstanding young athletes received special recognition for their achievements.
Sports Personalities of the Year
Lanya and Lily were presented with awards as the school's Sports Personalities of the Year, recognising their enthusiasm, commitment and positive contribution to sport.
The awards were presented by Luke Symington of Durham Cricket Club, making the occasion an especially memorable one for the girls.
A Special Celebration
After receiving their awards, Lanya and Lily enjoyed a lovely afternoon of celebrations, including cakes, balloons and treats, alongside fellow award winners and guests.
The event was a wonderful opportunity to recognise the hard work and dedication shown by young people across local schools.
